Two men were shot dead on Wednesday night in Bogotá, Colombia. One of the victims had Portuguese citizenship.
In accordance with information, private individuals took part in the agricultural fair known as “Agroexpo”. The perpetrators, who were riding a motorcycle, used a silencer so as not to make too much noise or cause panic, and fled after the shots were fired.
So far, the motive for the crime is unknown. Colombian authorities are investigating the case.
This Thursday, the management of the convention center (Corferias) deplored the loss of life and condemned the violence that took place on Wednesday near the fence.
“From the moment the facts emerged, Korferias has been in constant contact with the competent authorities to ensure all necessary cooperation and follow-up. Corferias expresses his solidarity with the families of the affected people,” the Colombian media said in a statement.
