The Portuguese roller hockey team advanced to the semi-finals of the European Championship this Thursday after beating England 15-2 in the quarter-finals of the competition taking place in Catalonia.
Rafa (04, 37 and 46 minutes), Goncalo Alves (06), João Rodrigues (14, 17, 30, 30 and 38), Enrique Magalhães (23 and 35), João Souto (32 and 33), Nuno Santos (41 ) and Telmo Pinto (49) scored for Portugal, while Jack Tucker (18) and Owen Norris (33) scored for England.
In the semi-final, scheduled for Friday, the national team will again face France, with whom they faced each other in the group stage, after the French beat Switzerland (5-0) in the quarter.
The European Roller Hockey Championship will run until Saturday in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, Catalonia.
