The Russian government said on Tuesday it had repelled a Ukrainian drone attack on a Russian ship in the Black Sea, adding that there were no casualties.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine last night made an unsuccessful attempt to attack the Sergey Kotov patrol ship with two unmanned ships,” the Russian Defense Ministry said, specifying that the ship “performs the tasks of navigation control in the southwestern part of the Black Sea, 370 kilometers from Sevastopol.”
In a statement published on the Telegram digital messaging network, the Russian ministry said that “two enemy ships, controlled remotely, were destroyed by standard weapon fire from a Russian ship from a distance of 1,000 to 800 meters.”
