A collision between two cars in the Rotunda da Barbuda in Sines this Saturday left five people with minor injuries, four adults and a child.
Four adults, three men and one woman, suffered minor injuries and were taken to the emergency room of the Litoral Alentejano hospital in Santiago do Casem.
The child suffered minor injuries, but due to the lack of pediatricians at the Littoral Alentejono hospital, he was taken under medical supervision to the emergency department of the Sao Bernardo hospital in Setúbal.
The alarm was raised at 19:57 and 13 operators were involved in the rescue operation, supported by 6 vehicles from the Sines Fire Department, Santo André and Santiago do Casem.
The firefighters were assisted by an ambulance and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) of the Litoral Alentejano Hospital.
GNR was on site to order traffic and took care of the incident.
