The Public Security Police said in a statement on Monday that they had seized a GPS locator and two cameras from a man they detained in Aveiro as part of a domestic violence trial.
According to a police statement from Friday 08:00 to Monday 08:00, PSP detained a man executing an arrest, search and seizure warrant in connection with domestic violence.
The police seized “a GPS locator, two cameras, two mobile phones, a decorative knife and an object that looked like a throwing star.”
In the same statement, PSP says that a 42-year-old man was detained on Sunday evening during the “Medieval Viagem em Terras de Santa Maria” in Feira, who intended to break into the enclosure without following these instructions.
The man was detained for “resisting and coercing an agent of the authorities into action,” given that, according to a police statement, “the police had to intervene to resolve the situation, after which they were attacked by a suspect.”
In Espinho, the PSP detained another man, for whom there was an arrest warrant, for the execution of a final sentence, for which the detainee was taken to Custoias prison.
