On Tuesday morning, a 45-year-old man was arrested by PSP Aveiro officers on suspicion of producing and selling drugs.
The arrest followed an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department of the PSP of Aveiro. Authorities dismantled a cannabis production scheme that operated in greenhouses in a house in the Aradas area.
During the investigation, PSP Aveiro seized several dozen cannabis plants, weighing a total of approximately 122 kilograms. Equipment used in the production of the drug was also seized, namely mills, precision scales, cutting and packaging machines, and dehydrators.
The suspect will appear before the criminal judge at the Aveiro court this Wednesday to be heard during the first judicial interrogation. Eventually, the man will hear the order for coercive measures.
