A tourist boat capsized Tuesday afternoon inside a cave in the Carvoeiro area, municipality of Lagoa, with 14 passengers and two crew members on board.

Among the victims were five children aged 2 to 6 who were not injured. The Ferragudo lifeboat rescued 16 people with the support of a tour boat.
