Other municipalities in Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Leiria, Santarem, Setúbal, Portalegre, Évora and Beja are at high fire risk.
Due to weather conditions, the risk of fire will continue until at least Monday.
This risk, defined by IPMA, has five levels, from low to high. Calculations are based on air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and rainfall over the last 24 hours.
The IPMA forecast for this Thursday is cloudy to clear on the continent, very cloudy skies in the western coastal strip, with some chance of light rain or drizzle and thunderstorms, especially in the highlands, inner north and center.
A decrease in maximum temperature is also expected in the north and in the center.
The minimum temperature will range from 17 degrees Celsius (in Porto) to 24 degrees (in Portalegre), and the maximum – from 24 (in Viana do Castelo) to 40 (in Castelo Branco, Évora and Beja).
