Three-time world jiu-jitsu champion accused of robbing brothels and raping prostitutes in Brazil

A three-time world champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, who was identified by the civil police (Judiciária) of São Paulo as Herbert Santos, 29, was arrested in Boituva, a city in the interior of this state of Brazil, on charges of violent acts. attacks and sexual abuse.

According to information provided by the police, the two militants chose brothels as their preferred targets and chose a time for more active movement in order to be able to claim as many victims as possible, which they dominated with firearms and a knife.

Police Chief (Inspector) Analu Ferras of the civilian police detailed that both fighters always used a lot of violence in their crimes, including during sexual abuse.

“They contacted the victims to sign up for the program. They practiced acts of a sexual nature against defenseless victims with great cruelty,” the investigator specified.

After the latest crime committed in Tres Lagoas, two militants fled to Sao Paulo. But the victims recognized them from photographs, and the Mato Grosso do Sul and São Paulo police worked together to track them down and arrest them when they stopped at a toll booth near the town of Boituva.

The two suspects were found in possession of 26 mobile phones, equivalent to 621 euros in Brazilian money (real), and a knife.
