This Sunday, the Minister of the Interior (MAI) announced the new commanders of the Lisbon Metropolitan Police Department of Public Security and the Special Unit of the Police (UEP).
Superintendent Luis Carrillo, former Commander of the United Nations Police Operational Force, former Advisor to the United Nations Police (UNPOL), former Director of the Police Division of the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations in 2017 and former Head of the UN Presidential Security Service Republic (Presidential Security Officer Republic) was appointed as the new leader of the UEP, and Superintendent Fiães Fernandez assumed command of the Lisbon PSP.
José Luis Carneiro accepted the proposals for the appointment of superintendents presented by the new PSP National Director, Chief Superintendent José Barros Correia.
