Investigating judge Pedro Miguel Vieira refuses to put the wife and daughter of Marco Orellas on trial for the murder of Igor Silva in May 2022 near the Dragao stadium.
The judge denies they were directly involved in the death. The magistrate also decided not to prosecute Carlos “Honai” for murder. This defendant will only appear in court because of threats. Seven people are now accused of the young man’s death.
It was Igor Silva’s mother who asked to open an investigation so that Iara and Marisa, the daughter and wife of “Orelhas,” could also be tried for murder. The two women are charged in this case, but for crimes against a young girl.
The judge has not yet taken into account the arguments of the three other defendants, who stated that they were not involved in the crime. They were Sergio Machado, Rui Costa and Paulo “Chanfra”, the son-in-law of “Orellas”.
