A 21-year-old woman was raped by a hooded man with a knife as she walked home during lunch this Sunday in the Ameicoeira area of Lisbon. The attack occurred at 12:00 in a deserted place. The victim was alone and the thief apparently waited until she began to cross an open field before snatching her. The young woman was dragged into the vegetation where the rape took place. The rapist fled, and the woman did not collect much information about the suspect’s appearance. Passersby called PSP who, since it was a sex crime, reported it to PJ.
At the end of Sunday afternoon, the young woman was in the Alfredo da Costa maternity hospital, where she underwent the necessary medical examination.
