The Public Security Police (PSP), through the airport security department, helped a passenger recover a luxury watch that was forgotten in the security area of Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon. The cost of a watch from a famous international brand will be more than 15 thousand euros.
The woman, who only realized her belongings were missing during the flight, forgot to remove her watch and plastic bracelet from the X-ray tray.
According to the PSP statement, the passenger contacted authorities, who were able to recover the items, which were to be part of “a consignment of finds that will be claimed by the rightful owners or, after the legal deadline, put up for auction.”
PSP advises that you should “always try to place such items together with tablets and mobile phones in the same tray so that they can be returned after completing the security check.”
