Daniel Sancho, the son of Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho, will stand trial on November 7 for the offense of insult he committed in 2021. The 29-year-old will attend the hearing via video conference as he is in custody in Thailand for the death of surgeon Edwin Arrieta.
According to the magazine Readings, Sancho will appear before a judge at 9am in Spain and 2pm in Thailand.
Sancho has been charged with starting a dispute at a taxi rank in Madrid. He hit the man because he reprimanded him for passing everyone waiting for transport. The victim suffered a broken tooth and needed several stitches.
The Spanish prosecutor’s office is demanding from the defendant, as part of “civil liability”, an amount of 600 euros for injuries and 1,500 euros for consequences. It also specifies, to the extent specified in the judgment, the dental treatment required to replace the teeth.
