This Monday, the trial of Cesar Boaventura in the “Operation Malapata” case will begin in the court of São João Novo in Porto. The football businessman is accused of fraud, forgery, tax fraud and money laundering.
According to the indictment of the prosecutor’s office (MP), we are talking about player transfers and several thousand euros that were in several bank accounts. The deputy also accuses Cesar Boaventura of “drawing up contracts for the purpose of exploiting image rights, confessions of debt and bank statements.”
The businessman said he was a friend of Luis Filipe Vieira, the former president of Benfica.
Recall that in April, Cesar Boaventura told CMTV that he lives on only 600 euros a month.
