The High Council of Justice has closed a second disciplinary case against judge Ivo Rosa after several decisions that were considered controversial.

The promotion of a Magistrate to the position of Judge has already been completed and he must now take up office in a higher court. We would like to remind you that Ivo Rosa was appointed as a member of the Lisbon Court of Appeal, but due to the process the vacancy was suspended.
It was Ivo Rosa who fired José Socrates for several crimes with which he was charged. The appeal regarding the relationship remains suspended.
