Scott Hall is the first defendant to plead guilty in the Georgia election manipulation case involving Donald Trump, a report said Friday. CNBC.
Guarantor was accused of conspiracy to commit fraud in the 2020 presidential election in the United States of America (USA).
The court sentenced Hall to five years of probation and payment of $5,000 (more than €4,700) for intentionally interfering with electronic voting machines in Coffee County, Georgia, in cooperation with other defendants.
This Thursday, Donald Trump surprised Judge Scott McAffee with his decision not to try to move the Georgia case to federal court.
The former US president is accused of 13 crimes in a conspiracy to rig the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, including organized crime, fraud, false delegates and coercion of government officials.
