ABOUT observer conducted a study and found that contracts concluded by public organizations published on the Basic Portal amount to 41.6 million euros (value excluding VAT), and direct adjustments amount to 23 million euros (excluding VAT).
The Lisbon Urban Rehabilitation Society was the public body that signed the contract for the highest value, approximately seven million euros, through a limited competition based on pre-qualification, with the company Oliveiras, SA being selected to carry out the “design-build rehabilitation of the Beirolas landfill within the Tagus Intermunicipal Park -Trunkan.”
Among the ten contracts with the lowest value between 122 and 3,500 euros, seven were awarded after a public tender. Out of curiosity, we note a direct adjustment of 121.90 euros from the Almada Chamber for the purchase of wooden mop handles.
