CMTV again had several programs with larger audiences than Telejornal on RTP-1.
The five formats on the Correio da Manhã channel attracted more viewers than the main television news of the state, which was broadcast as always at 20:00 and was followed by only 467 thousand people.
For comparison, it should be noted that “Noticias CM,” the most watched broadcast of the day yesterday, had 472 thousand viewers and a share of 10%, which is about 5 thousand more than Telejornal.
In terms of day’s performance, CMTV again had more audience than all of its competitors combined. CMTV’s average daily share was 6.6%, compared to 2.8% for CNN, 2.1% for SIC Notícias and 0.5% for RTP-3. In other words, all of CMTV’s competitors received only a 5.4% share, more than a percentage point behind the Correio da Manhã station.
CMTV airs on Channel 8 on all cable platforms, but not yet on DTT.
GFK is solely responsible for all results shown.
