‘He broke two molars’: witness reveals another case of violence involving Daniel Sancho

Daniel Sancho, awaiting trial in the death of Edwin Arrieta in Thailand, allegedly brutally attacked at least two men at a Madrid nightclub in 2015. The 29-year-old chef’s violent past has been discussed in Spain.

Spanish TV program TardeAR has provided new information about the past of Daniel Sancho, who allegedly physically and verbally attacked at least two men in a Madrid nightclub in 2015.

Sancho allegedly hit Richard William Medina, who was introduced to him by Spanish journalist Manuel Marlaska and a friend of Medina.

The friend, who did not identify himself on the TV program because he was a soldier, described how it all happened: “I bumped into a boy and spilled his drink on my shirt. I told him to be careful and then he attacked me. from below, and the glass broke in my mouth. It broke two molars.”

According to this victim, Daniel Sancho bragged about attacking two people from a poorer family: “You know what’s the best? The fact that “beto” is kicking out two neighbor’s children.” The soldier then reported that he was punched and kicked several times, with attacks spreading to Medina.

These alleged attacks on two men in a Madrid nightclub were not unique. According to the newspaper ABC, in 2019, Daniel Sancho got into a taxi without respecting the queue that had formed to use public transport. The victim persuaded Daniel to get into the car and although Sancho did so, he responded by punching him in the face. The injuries sustained in the attack took 12 days to heal and the victim was left without a tooth.

Daniel Sancho is detained in Thailand and charged with the death of Edwin Arrieta. The young cook confessed to the authorities that he had committed the crime.
