A 30-year-old woman who went missing on Tuesday afternoon in Alenquera has been found alive. On Wednesday afternoon, while searches were being carried out, elements heard screams coming from the water at the Valada do Ribatejo river beach in the municipality of Cartacho.
The woman left the house in her personal car, a white Fiat 500, at 4pm and was never seen again. The family reported the disappearance to authorities.
By that time, the PNP had already received a missing person report made by the father at the PNP post in Alenker.
These security forces and firefighters from the municipality of Cartascio carried out searches in the area of the beach on the Valada River from 11:15 am on Wednesday. There were 10 operatives and four vehicles at the scene.
There were no signs of crime in the incident.
