Emidio Sousa, President of the Chamber of Santa Maria da Feira, mentioned CM that the project, carried out after “cracks” were discovered in the wall, was “already in its final stages” and that the municipality even planned to reopen this part of the castle to the public in November.
Now new work will be required to replace the collapsed part of the wall.
