Colombian police continue to investigate the kidnapping of Luis Diaz’s parents and, as it turns out, Sun on Tuesday, “some suspects” responsible for the crime had already been identified.
The Colombian striker’s parents were surprised by armed men at a gas station on Saturday night and were eventually driven away after the car in which the player’s mother and father were traveling was taken by criminals.
However, according to the British portal, the director of the National Police of Colombia, Alejandro Zapata, despite not disclosing the names of the suspects, ensures that the authorities are connecting all the pieces and are getting closer to those responsible for the kidnapping.
It should be noted that several hours after the crime, Luis Diaz’s mother was eventually released and returned to her family. The player’s father remains missing and there are suspicions that he may have been taken to Venezuela.
The police have already offered a reward of 200 million Colombian pesos (about 45 thousand euros) to anyone who provides information about the kidnappers.
