Portuguese military cleared six sea mines in the Baltic Sea

A team of Navy combat divers laid six sea mines this week during a NATO mission in the Baltic Sea, he said. CM General Staff of the Armed Forces.

Units of Mine Squad No. 3 are on board the German ship FGS BAD BAVENSEN, part of the NATO mission called Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group One.

The force “successfully completed a historic explosive ordnance disposal operation in Estonia.” The Divers team carried out a joint operation with a German minesweeper, finding and clearing six mines that arose during former military conflicts.
