Members of the National Union of Civil Aviation Pilots (SNPVAC) at an extraordinary general meeting approved the new TAP Agreement with 1,646 votes out of a total of 2,496.
According to an internal statement sent by the Assembly board, to which Lusa had access, 2,496 SNPVAC members took part in the vote, of which 1,646 voted in favor of the Company Agreement (AE), 818 voted against and 32 abstained.
According to the union, 93% of members took part in the vote, which also took place online, with 66% of crew members approving the proposal.
In a statement sent to members, which Lusa also had access to, SNPVAC management said that “after 17 years of waiting,” they can “finally announce that a new document has been approved that will improve the financial, work and family conditions of TAP Members.”
