A 16-year-old boy was in serious condition after being electrocuted in warehouses owned by a church on Calle Miguel Bombarda, Barreiro.
José Figueiredo, commander of the Salvação Pública fire brigade in Barreiro, said CM that the alert was received at 12:00 this Saturday.
“We sent an ambulance and two firefighters. We warned that the young man had burns and cardiac arrest, which was confirmed,” explained the person in charge.
The fire brigade managed to prevent the young man from going into cardiac arrest and transported him to the San Jose hospital in Lisbon.
The boy’s condition is assessed as serious.
ABOUT CM established that the Setúbal Judicial Police had been called to investigate the causes of an accident involving a young man.
