This Sunday, a fire broke out in a large warehouse belonging to a toy company in Montijo, Setubal district, and 59 militants took part in extinguishing the fire, a Civil Defense source said.
A source at the Subregional Command for Emergency Situations and Civil Protection of the Setubal Peninsula told Lusa that the fire, which was alerted at 5:57 a.m., engulfed a warehouse belonging to Interplay, a company that sells toys.
According to the same source, the fire was active at 9:00.
The warehouse is located on the so-called Estrada do Pau Queimado street in Montijo, he explained.
In addition to the PNR, operatives and resources from the fire brigades of Montijo, Alcochete, Seixal, Casillas, Moita, Pinhala Novo, Barreiro, Aguas de Moura, Chanha and Palmela are participating in the fight against the flames.
A total of 25 vehicles are involved in the operations.
