One person was seriously injured and three others, two of them minors, received minor injuries this Thursday morning in a strong head-on collision between two cars in Santa Maria da Feira.
The victim with serious injuries was a 49-year-old woman who was traveling in a car with her 13-year-old daughter. The mother suffered a fracture of her lower limb, and her daughter received minor injuries.
In the other car was a 33-year-old man with a one-year-old child.
At around 8:30 am, Feira firefighters were alerted to a traffic accident on Rua de São João in São João de Ver. The Gaia ambulance and resuscitation team was also called.
The road was closed for about two hours to allow operations to help those injured.
The GNR was mobilized to the scene.
