Porto PSP, in collaboration with the Institute of Mobility and Land Transport IP, is carrying out a mega operation on Tuesday next to the Dragao Stadium in Porto to inspect passenger vehicles of the company JOIN.
On Tuesday morning, several irregularities were discovered related to bus licensing and ownership registration.
The inspection follows a wave of protests and user complaints about the services provided on bus lines in the Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP). Late hours, missed schedules, incorrect schedules and lack of information are the main complaints of UNIR users.
In recent days, photographs of buses with identical numbers, presumably UNIR buses, have circulated on social networks.
PSP Porto is verifying the authenticity of the complaint.
