The Socialist Party voted against all demands for hearings in the case of the Portuguese-Brazilian twins. The PS vote blocked the hearing of Nuno Rebelo de Sousa, the son of the President of the Republic, the parents of the girls, as well as the visit of Marta Temido, former Minister of Health, and Lacerda Sales. The PKP abstained.
On the other hand, the Minister of Health will be heard by deputies on the request of the PSD “for the payment of health services provided by the SNS by Portuguese people living outside Portugal.”
The presence of President Infarmed, which Chega had urgently requested, was confirmed. So the president of the institution goes to parliament to explain the drug approval process to the two girls.
