The Public Ministry (MP) has launched an investigation into the change of online contacts of several PSP police stations to a common SP telephone number following a complaint filed by the Judicial Police, judicial sources told Lusa this Wednesday.
Between Monday and Tuesday, the telephone numbers of several police stations of the Public Security Police of the Lisbon Metropolitan Command (Cometlis) were changed on the Internet, now indicating a general contact of the judicial police, meaning that many calls were present in PJ.
The action comes as police officers protest for better pay and working conditions. The action began in an inorganic movement that arose within the PSP against the risk subsidies provided by the government only to the judicial police.
