According to a source from the PSP regional command in Madeira, the robbery took place around 8:30 a.m. when a man with his face covered by a mask entered the Caixa Geral de Depósitos branch in the center of Camara de Lobos. municipality adjacent to Funchal to the west, brandishing a suspected firearm.
According to information collected by the police, the robber threatened employees and users, and then fled with a large amount of money, remaining at large.
There were no reports of casualties after the attack.
