A 58-year-old fisherman living in Lesa da Palmeira died yesterday in hospital after an accident on board a fishing boat off Leixões. Jose Braga’s funeral is scheduled for tomorrow.

In recent days, while handling the winch of a fishing vessel on which he was working, an accident occurred during work, resulting in serious injuries to his hand. He was transferred to the São João Hospital in Porto, where he underwent surgery. He died this Monday in this medical unit.
The funeral is planned for tomorrow, Wednesday, at 15:00 in the Chapel of Corpo Santo in Lesa da Palmeira.
