PS Secretary General Pedro Nuno Santos promised this Saturday in Porto that all tolls on old highways for users (SCUT) in the interior and in the Algarve will be waived free of charge.
“Over the past few years, we have made efforts to reduce tolls. We are not going to reduce tolls further in the interior of the country. We are going to abolish tolls in the interior of the country and in the Algarve,” said Pedro Nuno Santos. in Alfandega do Porto during the All Portugal Forum, where the PS election program was discussed.
According to the PS Secretary General, A4, A22, A23, A24 and A25 will be at stake.
“We have harmed a large part of the territory. We had no right to do this. We must restore justice and respect for those who live and work within the country,” says Pedro Nuno Santos.
