A free solution is available and warns that “PSD is eating Chega”.

This Monday, the leader of Livre demonstrated his willingness to be part of the government solution if there is unity between the left parties of “progress and ecology,” warning that “the PSD is being devoured by Chega.”

“Livre can be part of the solution if there is a clear majority of pro-progress and environmentalists in parliament. Then we will be part of the solution. If there is a right-wing majority, we will be part of the opposition, because at the moment we are in a situation where we no longer even have a device against disorder, as was said shortly after the fall of the regional government of the Azores,” emphasized Rui Tavares.

A representative of Livre spoke to reporters at the Palace of Justice in Lisbon as part of the presentation of the list of parliamentary candidates for this constituency.

Pointing to the “instability that the right offers,” Rui Tavares said that people would prefer the stability that “the left can offer Portugal,” pointing out that his party is “ready at any time to negotiate with other leftists.”

Lisbon’s “number two” and municipal deputy for the capital, Isabel Mendes Lopez, said Livre “has three very clear goals.”

“Grow, have a strong parliamentary group in Parliament, contribute to the creation of a left-wing and progressive majority that will lead Portugal to become a people-oriented and decent country, and also (…) remove extremists from power,” he stressed.

Isabel Méndez López also told reporters that she believes the party will be able to get elected in several circles.

“We have Lisbon, Porto, Braga, Setúbal, so we do not risk numbers, but we know that we will grow significantly and have this strength in parliament,” he added.

The deadline to file nominations for the March 10 special legislative elections expires this Monday.

The major parties have already approved at the global level their lists of parliamentary candidates, which must be delivered locally to the district courts of each of the constituencies or constituencies, a process that will end this Monday.

After the nominations are presented, the next day the judge begins compiling lists to put them in order on the ballot papers and within two days checks the authenticity of the documents and the suitability of the candidates.
