The televised debate on the March 10 legislative elections will begin this Monday with a face-to-face meeting between PS Secretary General Pedro Nuno Santos and IL President Rui Rocha.
The debate between Pedro Nuno Santos and Rui Rocha is scheduled for 21:00 on SIC, while at 22:00 there will be a face-to-face meeting between Chegi leader Andre Ventura and PAN representative Ines de Souza Real on RTP3. .
A total of 30 televised debates will be broadcast until February 23: 28 face-to-face between party leaders, debates between all parties with seats in parliament (February 23) and another with parties not represented in the Assembly of the Republic (February 20).
All face-to-face meetings will last between 25 and 30 minutes, the same as in the 2022 legislative elections, with the exception of the debates between the leaders of the two largest parties, Pedro Nuno Santos (PS) and Luis Montenegro. (PSD), the expected duration of which is 75 minutes and which is scheduled for February 19 with broadcast on three universal TV channels (RTP-1, NIC and TVI).
Of all the debates, 15 will be broadcast on general channels and another 15 on cable news channels. All debates in which the Secretary General of the PS or the Chairman of the PSD participates will be broadcast publicly.
