This Thursday, dozens of farmers concentrated at the Amendoeira junction in Macedo de Cavaleiros, Bragança, forcing the cutting of the A4 and IP2 motorways.
The National Republican Guard monitoring the protest is blocking access to the A4 motorway in both directions and to IP2.
National Road 15 (EN15) is also restricted near the access point due to the presence of agricultural machinery.
Lusa discovered that dozens of agricultural vehicles had been gathering in Macedo de Cavaleiros since early morning.
According to Luis Reis, after organizing this protest, about 300 farmers from Macedo de Cavaleiros, Mirandela, Alfandega da Fe, Vimioso, Bragança, Viñais, Mogadouro and Valpazos in the district of Vila Real will gather by 8:00.
Another protest has been taking place since 7 am and is planned in the Vila Flor area, next to the Lodoes intersection, which brings together farmers from the municipality of Carraseda de Anciaes.
According to information received from the People’s Republic of Poland, agricultural machinery runs along the highway adjacent to the main roads, and everything is working normally.
