A two-year-old girl was seriously injured after falling from a moving car on Monday. Her mother was driving the vehicle.
GNR confirmed Morning mail that the accident occurred at the roundabout in honor of his wife Gloria in Gloria do Ribatejo, in Salvaterra de Magos.
The child will climb out of the car seat and open the car door, falling onto the road.
When Salvaterra de Magos volunteer firefighters arrived on the scene, the child was outside the vehicle. Fabio Dias, the corporation’s deputy director, explained that the child had serious injuries but did not have “life-threatening injuries.”
There were eight firefighters at the scene, supported by three vehicles and the National Rescue Service. The alarm was received at 19:50. The girl was taken to the Santarem Regional Hospital.
GNR is now investigating whether the car seat was in a condition where it could be used, whether the minor was still buckled in and whether the car door was locked.
