The Judicial Police (PJ) detained a 19-year-old man at Lisbon airport, who was subject to a European Arrest Warrant and charged with aggravated robbery by threatening to use a firearm.
In a statement issued this Thursday, the SP said that the crime, committed in collaboration with another person previously identified and apprehended, occurred on public roads on September 2, 2022 in the Amadora area after the assailants called for the arrest. transport service.
“Already in the car, under the threat of using firearms, they took away two mobile phones and a wallet containing 130 euros from the driver,” the joint venture reports.
The Judicial Police adds that at that time this suspect was identified and detained at the scene of the crime by the PSP, but after his arrest he was brought before a judge, and the coercive measure in the form of an obligation to remain in the house through electronic surveillance – a measure that he did not comply with, having fled from authorities abroad.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday at Humberto Delgado airport by members of the PS office in Lisbon and the Tagus Valley after traveling from France to the Portuguese capital.
