The 27-year-old man died on Wednesday morning from an overdose of GHB, the so-called rape drug, which was secretly given to him by another man already detained by the Judicial Police (PS) of Setúbal, the city where the incident took place. The killer’s goal was to steal the victim’s property.
According to the SP statement, the existence of a body was reported inside a residential building in the municipality of Setúbal.
“After a competent judicial investigation, it was possible to verify that the death occurred in a different place. The investigation made it possible to hold accountable as the author of the facts the individual with whom the victim was in a relationship,” it says
The detainee, who has a criminal record, will attend his first judicial interrogation this Thursday to apply any coercive measures deemed appropriate.
