This Saturday, a bus was completely burnt down on the A1 highway in Azambuja district. Help was provided to 11 of the 48 passengers in the car.
The cause of the fire was a burst bus tire. The driver and passengers left the vehicle in a timely manner.
Traffic was blocked in the direction of Porto-Lisbon (North-South). According to the State Police, only the left lane in the North-South direction is open. The queue on the roads in the Azambuja area stretched for seven kilometers.
The alarm came in at 5:21 p.m. At 18:11, 29 militants were on the scene, supported by 11 vehicles.
