Speaking to Lusa, José Rodríguez, ANEPC operations officer, said at 8:15 a.m. that most of the situations occurred in the north and center, as well as in Greater Lisbon.

Worsening weather conditions in the coming days with rain and strong winds, rough seas and snowfall have forced ANEPC to warn the public to take preventive measures.
Based on forecasts from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IMPA), Civil Protection warned on Monday of the possibility of winds, sometimes strong, in the highlands and on the west coast with gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour (kph). HOUR).
For today, IPMA is forecasting rain, sometimes heavy and persistent, which may be hail, accompanied by thunderstorms and rough seas with waves from the northwest on the west coast reaching six to seven meters north of Cape Carvoeiro (maximum height 12 meters). ).
