Jornal da Meia-Noite was the most viewed on the cable channel this Monday, the day of the debut of Ireneu Teixeira, the new CMTV commentator. The format, hosted by Angela Gonçalves Marques, was the favorite in Portugal with a share of 7.1% and an average of 94.8 thousand viewers.
This result is much higher than that of the main competitors. The share of the CNN channel did not exceed 2.7%, which is equivalent to an average of 39 thousand 600 viewers, while the share of SIC Notícias was 2.1%, which is an average of 36.9 thousand viewers. RTP3 did not go beyond the share of 1.3% and 15,700 viewers.
Ireneu Teixeira writes daily with Angela Gonçalves Marquez in the midnight paper. The CMTV commentator addresses the main news of the war in Ukraine on a daily basis, adding a human and differentiated vision of the conflict.
