This Wednesday, FC Porto provided access to a portal entirely dedicated to the April 27 elections (eleicoes.fcporto.pt) with “relevant information”.
44 voting tables will be open on the east and west sides of the Dragau stadium. Distribution between tables will be “communicated in advance” using the participant number. The election runs from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., but all members standing in line during that time will be able to vote. Members who have been in the senior category for one year (voting is carried out for correspondents) can vote without any disciplinary violations. Fees can be paid until the day before the election, the 26th, and “associate status” can be restored until the 24th.
The full composition of the lists will be revealed on the 18th: the list of Pinto da Costa – “A”, Andre Villas-Boas – “B”, Nuno Lobo – “C”, and the independent members of the Supreme Council – “D”.
2020 Opposition Divided in Support
José Fernando Rio, who received 26.4% of the vote in Porto’s 2020 elections, is supporting Pinto da Costa in the next elections. But 45 members of the then Rio list issued a statement calling for a vote for Andre Villas-Boas, who presented his academy proposal on Tuesday evening.
