Prime Minister Luis Montenegro presented the list of secretaries of state to the President of the Republic at the first meeting with Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa this Thursday at the Palacio de Belém in Lisbon.
The list will be announced this Thursday, a source in the President of the Republic said, without specifying an approximate time frame.
This information was conveyed to journalists half an hour after Prime Minister Luis Montenegro left the Belem Palace and postponed the promulgation of the full composition of the XXIV Constitutional Government until later.
“It was a good meeting, we talked about many topics, and as for the composition of the government, we will find out later,” Luis Montenegro said in a short statement to reporters following his first weekly meeting with the head of state since taking office two days ago.
