The Regional Health Service of Madeira says it has guaranteed all assistance to a pregnant woman who lost her baby at 6 weeks of pregnancy

This Saturday, the Regional Health Service of Madeira guaranteed that it will provide all assistance to a 20-year-old pregnant woman who lost her child in the sixth week of pregnancy.

According to the note sent to the Correio da Manhã, “The Health Service considers it necessary to inform in connection with the above that it has provided all hospital care to the patient and her family since the beginning of the pregnancy.”

The 20-year-old Diva lost her son in the sixth month of pregnancy and does not know what caused the death of the fetus or where the body is located. He was taken to the Madeira Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, but the department says they have not received the body.

On March 19, she woke up without feeling the fetus in her uterus. He immediately went to the Dr. Nelio Mendonça hospital in Funchal, Madeira, and received the tragic news that the fetus was already dead. TO CM, the young woman said that despite this, she was forced to give birth. The diva was taken to the ward and given epidural anesthesia, but during the birth the woman said that she was left alone and did not have any medical support.

The parents were given no explanation as to the cause of their son’s death, so the woman and her partner asked for an autopsy to be performed on the fetus. A month has passed and they still have no answers, including where the child’s body may be.

“As per existing protocol, fetal examination was requested with the prior permission of the user. The Regional Health Service is awaiting the report of the requested study,” explains the Regional Health Service of Madeira.
