Agreement between parties could delay vote on IRS cut

The government’s proposal to downgrade the IRS, which will be debated in parliament this Wednesday, could be saved by a cross-party agreement that would see no vote taken and the diploma referred to a parliamentary committee.

ABOUT CM You know that in the morning there were negotiations between the parties, in particular with P.S. and Chegoy. One of the issues being discussed is the possibility that the proposal will not be put to a vote today, but will automatically go to a parliamentary committee for discussion.

However, this should only happen if the starting point for negotiations is greater IRS cuts at the lowest levels, as Chega demands. TO CMParty leader Andre Ventura confirmed that he has proposed to the PSD to negotiate to reach this solution and is awaiting a response.
