The Police Judicial (PJ) are investigating a kidnapping complaint filed by a man who claims two robbers threatened him with a knife for more than two hours on Tuesday afternoon. He was later abandoned in the Sete Rios area, where he was forced to withdraw money from an ATM and stripped of all his personal property.
The victim initially told PSP that she was threatened by two men at 2:00 pm in Alameda dos Oceanos, in the Parca das Nações area. A police source explained CM that the man was threatened with a knife held to his body and forced into a car. About two and a half hours of abduction followed, which ended on Avenida Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro in the Sete Rios area.
There, according to the applicant, he was forced to withdraw 20 euros from an ATM. He was still left without a mobile phone and an electronic music device.
A complaint was lodged at the nearest PSP police station.
