The municipality reminds that the unveiling of the mural designed by Regg Salgado and Mariana Santos, installed on Avenida Braganza Fernandez, scheduled for this afternoon at 15:30, will take place at the same time, and confirms that the work will be restored.
Also on Facebook, cultural advisor Mário Nuno Neves states that “when the freedom that April gave us is used wisely, the Portuguese rise up; when it is used foolishly – as was the case with this act of vandalism – we all let ourselves go.”
The councilor invites the population to attend the inauguration this afternoon and writes that “the presence of all signifies a clear rejection of actions committed by those who have learned nothing from history.”
