Home Secretary guarantees ‘thorough assessment’ of SEF dismantling

The functions of administrative issues related to immigrants were transferred to a new agency and the Institute of Registers and Notaries (IRN), and a Coordination Unit for Borders and Foreigners was created, which operates under the direction of the Secretary General of the Homeland System. Safety.

The Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA), which deals with the regularization and integration of immigrants in Portugal, has also taken over the powers of the disappeared High Commission for Migration.
